VLG Studios and the fabulous wildlife pet portraits

Let’s start with the best places where a wildlife photographer can get the maximum inspiration. Nantucket National Wildlife Refuge, United States: Most of the wildlife photographers have a fetish for capturing the flight mode of the birds. If you fall in that category, then here is the place for you. Recognized in 1975 for carrying out the national migratory bird management program Nantucket National Wildlife is a great hit among the wildlife lovers. The refuge is cooperatively managed with the Trustee of Reservations. This refugee park is a site for hundreds of migratory birds and Gray and harbor seals. One can also find a variety of gull species here which calls for some stunning pictures.

India: The diverse habitats of Kanha National Park in Madhya Pradesh, composed of grasslands, forests and bamboo bush, are home to around 100 of India’s tigers. You’ll spend most of your time out on safari, so the holidays can be pretty full on. Naturalist guides here have led internationally renowned photographers, so you’re in good company. Kanha can be easily combined with Keoladeo National Park for bird watching, too.

Environmentally friendly products! Prior to the production of my first item this year, my conservation charity notebooks (pictured above), I did a vast amount of research to find suppliers that are themselves eco-conscious, and that allow me to fully commit to the change into environmentally friendly products in order to leave a smaller footprint on the planet. I myself will also be sending out products launched from 2020 onwards only in recyclable packaging that is 100% free from plastic, using plastic free tape that is biodegradable, recyclable, and compostable!

Following on from my A’Levels, I was awarded a place at Staffordshire University, UK, to study Fine Art, and decided to defer my degree until 2014 so that I could travel to the Far East during my gap year. Whilst in Thailand in early 2014, I had the wonderful opportunity to volunteer at Kanchanaburi Safari & Rescue Centre, taking care of their orphaned and rescued animals. One piece, completed on location over 20 hours, to portray the celebration of HM The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee and the city of Liverpool. Read even more information at www.vlgstudios.com.
