Best laptops and bluetooth headset for noisy environment

Best laptops and party speakers with bass? If you’re after a power-house 15-inch laptop that can do everything from video editing to lightweight gaming, then you’ll want to check out the Dell XPS 15 2-in-1. The convertible is one of the first laptops to run one of Intel’s G-series chips. The chips are the result of an unprecedented partnership between Intel and its arch-rival AMD. Specifically, the chip combines Intel’s CPU architecture with AMD’s Vega graphics. The combination works a treat and means the XPS 15 2-in-1 is a powerhouse machine that can match laptops with discrete Nvidia 1050 graphics on performance. Add to this its top notch 4K screen and foldable, Yoga-like, hinge mechanism and the XPS 15 2-in-1 justifiably earns its place as one of 2019’s best availble laptops.

It’s worth repeating that price: $1,799 for a Prestige 15 (model A10SC-010) with the aforementioned Core i7-10710U chip and 3,840-by-2,160-pixel display; 32GB of memory; a 1TB NVMe solid-state drive; Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 Max-Q graphics; and Windows 10 Pro. The MSI can’t match the eight-core Core i9 processor available in the Dell or Apple or the ultra-high-contrast OLED screens offered by the XPS 15, the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Extreme, or the Razer Blade 15 Studio Edition, but it costs a lot less. Our XPS 15 test unit was $2,649; our Acer ConceptD 7 was $2,999; and our Razer Studio Edition was $3,999. In addition to the 2.3GHz (4GHz boost) Ryzen 7 3750H CPU and Radeon RX 5500M graphics, my Alpha 15 test unit (model A3DD-004) features 16GB of dual-channel memory, a 512GB PCIe solid-state drive, Windows 10 Home, and a one-year warranty. Its 144Hz full HD display with AMD FreeSync is unique to this configuration; the $899 model (A3DD-003) drops the refresh rate to a still respectable 120Hz.

At the small-screen end of the spectrum, 12- and 13-inch laptops, or ultraportables (more on these below), are worth considering if you plan on toting your laptop. These models are small enough to weigh 3 pounds or less, but large enough that they include a full-size keyboard and a decent size-screen. The downside is that port selection tends to be minimal due to the limited amount of room available on side panels. These laptops usually serve simple needs like surfing the web or modest word processing, and they’re a good choice for business travelers who need to tote a laptop frequently. Smaller 10- and 11-inch laptops (now less common than they used to be) have even less room for ports, and will have smaller keyboards and space between the keys, so you’ll have to adjust your typing style to accommodate. As such, we feel the iPhone 11 is the best phone Apple currently makes in terms of bang for your buck, and as such is an easy recommend for most users (unless you much prefer Android as an operating system on your phone). Regardless, though, as T3 concluded in our official review of the phone, the “iPhone 11 strikes a brilliant balance between features and price. You wouldn’t know it’s the cheaper of Apple’s phones from its build, camera and speed. If only it had an OLED screen…” It’s hard to know where to start with the Galaxy S20 Ultra, because Samsung has really gone to town here, from the 100x digital zoom on the rear camera to the huge 6.9-inch AMOLED display you get around the front. It’s the priciest of the S20 models, and it shows.

The Dell XPS 13 has been a regular of our best laptops list for years, and the 2019 model is no exception. It retains everything we’ve come to love from Dell’s flagship 13-incher, from the gorgeous and light design, to the powerful modern components that power it. The Dell XPS 13 rocks an 8th-generation Intel Core i5 or i7 processor and a bezel-less ‘Infinity Edge’ display, this Dell XPS 13 continues to be the most popular Windows laptop in the world. What’s more, there’s a wide range of customization options, so you can really make the Dell XPS 13 the best laptop for your needs. The 2019 model doesn’t bring a huge amount of improvements, but then not that much about the Dell XPS 13 needs improving. Its webcam has been placed at the top center of the screen, rather than at the bottom, which a lot of customers have been asking for. You also get a longer battery life in this year’s model.

Premium processors: If you need a laptop with more power, we recommend a Ryzen 5 or Intel Core i5 processor. These fantastic processors are an excellent choice for fast, responsive, affordable laptops; they can streamline day-to-day tasks, and can even support some basic graphic design work and gaming. Provides a large amount of space for your files – from 500GB to 3,000GB (3TB). However, it is far slower than an SSD, so things like games can take longer to load. In recent years, HDD storage has become less popular with the rise of solid state drives. See more details at https://bestlaptopsreviews.net/.
